Hi! Welcome to the group! :-)
Can you tell us a bit about yourself, and your relationship with Loki?
I'm a 29 year old stay at home mom and business owner. I LARP and do other massively geeky stuff, which my business is part of, making leather and cloth LARP/ren fair accessories and clothing.
As for Loki, he came into my life when I was 15. I was suicidal, incredibly angry with my family, and he was a like a big brother, helping me sort through it all, mostly in my dreams, occasionally as just this unseen presence, like a gentle hand on my shoulder. Occasionally though, he had to get very harsh with me. Still does really >.<
Anywho's, I had still been nominally Christian back then, so I was kind of freaked out when I asked this man in my dreams who he was, and was informed that he was Loki, a god that not only had I read about in my bookshelf books for children series when I was little, but was also a demon according to the religion I followed at the time. Funny thing is, even as a child I loved the stories about him, and felt that the whole punishment thing was way over the top.
These days, the best way to describe our relationship is bratty sub to a Dom with a wicked sense of humor, without the sexual component most people associate with a D/s relationship. At current, he's not so patiently waiting on the side for me to finish my studies with my Matron, the Morrigan, while often interjecting his opinion of things at the times it's most likely going to spark my ADD and send me off on a bunny trail.
I'm 48, and Loki claimed me in January 2011. I communicated with Him in dreams and hypnagogia (the trance like state between sleeping and waking) during our first year together.
He then proposed to me, I thought He was kidding at first, because I hadn't heard of any gods marrying mortals in modern times, back then. He insisted, so I held a wedding ceremony in June. I also gave Him a simple nun vow.
I did LARPing in the 90s. I made the costumes for our groups. It was a lot of fun, both to make costumes and to participate in 5 days long LARPs. I participated in one LARP that was a trilogy, so I played the same character three summers in a row. That was so much fun!
I also read about mythologies as a child, and in Norse mythology my favourite was Loki. i felt about him as you did, that He had been treated too harshly. The Æsir weren't kind to Him and His Families.
How do you honour Loki? Do you do any devotional work?
I give Him offerings on Saturdays, which I feel is His day. I light a candle and incense and welcome Him into my home, and I give Him a shot of whisky.
I do a bit of devotional work for Him. I study Norse culture and religion, sometimes I write poems, and now I have a project where i will draw for Him as often as I can.
No, I don't do any devotional work at this time. Much of my time is spent in training as a priestess of the Morrigan, of which he often interrupts and sends my ADD down mental bunny trails >.<
As for honoring him, I dedicate a shot of scotch and some candy to him once a month, as well as keeping a small altar specifically for him. I also leave a small gift for Odin when I give those.
Sure, I'd love to. That said, I'm not out on my facebook, due to my parents and other fundie christian family members being on my friends list
I'm only out to my mother and close friends, so the above FB account is my pagan account.

Hi there. Welcome to the group. There is nothing wrong with being a wee bit crazy. It makes life more interesting. But it certainly makes it more intertaining to have other nutters at your side. ;)
I can completely agree with that

Once we get touched, I think, we all a little crazy for Him, and He wholeheartedly enjoys us that way lol :)
I find it interesting that you said you, as well, were suicidal when He found you. Ironically also 15. Facinating!
I often felt He had been wrongfully punished as well. Mom often tells me how when I was little I stomped outside in a lightning storm and told Thor to leave Loki alone and to go sit in time out until He was calm.
I'll be 34 this year and it's been a long fullfilling relationship with Him, even if most of those years I had to play Lokean in Christian clothing lol and all the ups and downs... but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
